To access your web site via FTP, you will need the following information:
- Your FTP Host Name/Address (YourDomain.com).
- Your Infinities Online Username.
- Your Infinities Online Password.
IMPORTANT! When uploading web pages, you must upload
them to your WWW directory in order for them to be visible to the web.
Using WS_FTP Software For Windows
Fill in the WS_FTP session properties according to the picture below. Replace the word
username with your Infinities Online username and put your own password in the password
field.
Once you are connected to the server, the window on the left is your computer's hard
drive. The window on the right is the web server files. After your build your web site on
your local hard drive, transfer files from your computer (on the left) to the web server
(on the right) using left and right arrows on the middle pane.
Using Fetch FTP Software For Macintosh
Fill in the Fetch connection properties according to the picture below. Replace the word
username with your Infinities Online username and put your own password in the password
field.
Once you have a connection open, you can drag and drop files from your computer to the
web server. Build your site on your local computer then use Fetch to transfer the files up
to the web server
