FrontPage is a powerful web
site construction and management tool offered by Microsoft. It includes a rich set of site
creation wizards, graphics themes, and easy to build interactive components including
discussion forum, keyword search, registration forms, active graphics, and automated
publishing. It also includes a graphics program.
You are NOT required
to use Front Page with your Infinities Online account. Support for Front Page is offered
as an optional convenience. You are free to use Front Page at your discretion or you may
choose to use any other tool including the Infinities Online templates or any other third
party development tool.
Steps To Building Your Site With FrontPage®:
Step
1: Build Your Site
When you build your site with Front Page, your are building it first on your local
computer's hard drive. Then, when your site is complete, it does not become visible to the
public on the Internet until you publish your site to the Infinities Online web
server using the publish step described below.
Build your site using the
Front Page Explorer (Site Manager) and Page Editor. Please see the Front Page
documentation for instructions.
Step
2: Publish Your Site
The publish step transfers
your Front Page Web Site from your local computer's hard drive to the Infinities Online
web server where it can be viewed by the public via the Internet.

Note:
When your site is complete and you are ready to publish your FrontPage web, click on the Publish
button or select Publish Front Page Web from the File menu. You will see the
following dialog box:
When you see the above
dialog box, click on More Webs. Then, you will see the following:
Now, type in http://www.YourDomainName.com
and click OK. (Your Infinities Online User Name is the username you selected when you
signed up for you Infinities Online account.)
Next, you will prompted for
your username and password with the following dialog box:
Type in your Infinities
Online username and password that you selected when you signed up for you Infinities
Online account and click OK. At this point, your Front Page Web Site will be automatically
transferred to the Infinities Online web server and will available for viewing by the
public from the Internet.
